Ivan Au

As an Intern Architect, Ivan brings a fresh perspective and strong technical skills to projects. Ivan has gained a wide range of experience in the application of digital tools and methodologies to architecture and design. He is a strong communicator and active listener who works closely with the project team to deliver the best possible outcomes to clients.

Ivan has acquired a broad range experience professionally and as a researcher at the University of Calgary, including 2D drawing, 3D modeling, Building Information Modeling (BIM), parametric design and scripting, digital fabrication (dFAB) and construction administration.

Architecturally, Ivan is interested in the application of parametric technologies to the practice of architecture and their potential in streamlining the construction process for better project outcomes, in addition to their capabilities in generating buildings truly responsive to both client and public needs.
